With the unmissable chance to enjoy activities from around the globe here at The Chimes, our Global Kids Corner event will take your kids on an exciting adventure around the world!

To track their travels and for the chance to win some great prizes, your kids can pick up their special GKC passport from The Chimes Customer Information Desk or when they take part on the day.
Attend 3 out of 6 events and have your passport stamped to claim a free prize.

10am to 4pm on the 2nd weekend of every month from June to November 2008.

Join us on the Lower Mall outsideMadhouse, and have some fun! Fun, fascinating and FREE, each month our workshops will be themed on a different country and feature a traditional activity or pastime.
14 -15 June: China Chinese lanterns, toy puppets and puzzles

12 -13 July: Italy Pizza making theme

9 -10 August: Brazil Carnival masks, headgear and learning about dinosaurs

13-14 September: England I CAN wall of words and ‘Make Chatter Matter’

11-12 October: India Painting clay pots and wood block printing

8 - 9 November: Scandinavia Making Christmas cards and advent calendars

There will also be traditional dancers, musicians, food and family events on the China, Brazil and India weekends.

Plus, in September we will be working with the charity ICAN to ‘Make Chatter Matter’ increasing the awareness of talking as a key part in the development of young children.
