We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic maintenance technician to join our team here at The Chimes Shopping Centre.You will be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive/repair works to the building services and Electrical and Mechanical plant equipment including: Air Handling Units, heating and ventilation, air conditioning units, water treatment, sprinkler systems, generators, pumps, BMS, calorifiers, plumbing and HWS. You will also be required to maintain and repair lighting, small power and mains distribution systems and motor controls.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential:

You must be flexible in your approach to working and comfortable working within a team environment yet able to work unsupervised when required.

Self motivated, with good written and verbal skills.

Experience in Safe Systems of Work is essential.

Reside geographically near to site and be available for call outs on a shift roster basis.

12 hour daytime shifts 7am-7pm

4 days on, 4 days off

Qualifications required:

• City & Guilds Electrical (236, 2330 etc)
• 17th edition
• Basic Computer skills essential

Desirable:

• C&G 2391 inspection & testing
• Air conditioning safe handling certificate
• ACS or ACOPS qualification
• Fire alarm experience
