Getting to The Chimes

The Chimes is located in the heart of Uxbridge town centre and so is easy to get to however you intend to travel.

To make things easier, you'll find a guide to getting here by most forms of transport. We’ve also provided links for journey planners to help you plan your journey if you’re travelling by public transport, car or bicycle.

By Bus

The Chimes is ideally suited for any of the buses coming into the centre of Uxbridge.

Many bus routes from local areas and South Bucks terminate at Uxbridge bus station, just 50 yards from The Chimes Shopping Centre.

• 580 High Wycombe - Beaconsfield - Uxbridge
• 581 Uxbridge - Denham - Beaconsfield

The Chimes is easily accessed by car.

Uxbridge is easily reached by the M25 Jct 16 (M40) to Jct 15 (M4), by the M40 Jct 1, the M4 Jct 4, or via the A40 Swakeleys Roundabout- making it a perfect shopping destination no matter where you are coming from.

By Electric Car

The Chimes has two electric car charging points available in the car park. They are located on Level 1 of the car park by the late payment bays. These are part of the Source Londond network. www.sourcelondon.net

By Tube 

The Chimes is serviced by the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines connecting Ruislip, Harrow and Central London, Uxbridge tube station is situated 50 yards from The Chimes main entrance

By Bicycle

Cycling is good for you, good for the environment, it's fast, it's convenient, it gives you freedom and independence and takes you from door to door.

Cycle parking is available on the High Street outside the main entrance and on the piazza and out Uxbridge underground station.

On Foot

Walking is a healthy form of exercise and generates no pollution.

Located right in the centre of Uxbridge, it couldn’t be easier to walk to The Chimes. The Chimes is signposted throughout the pedestrian areas of the town centre, making it straight forward to find us anywhere when walking around Uxbridge.

It’s within walking distance of many local residential areas. At an average walking speed you can cover a mile in 20 minutes.

We’re here to help

The Customer Information team are on hand to help make your visit to The Chimes as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Should you require any information about the Centre or the surrounding area, the Customer Information Desk can be found on the upper mall by Republic.

Other services

• Photocopying, faxing and laminating facilities are all available from the Customer Information Desk, charges are as follows:

-Photocopying A4 10p (single sided)

-Photocopying A4 15p (double sided)

-Photocopying A3 20p (single sided)

-Faxing £1 for the first page, 50p each subsequent page (we are unable to provide International faxing

-Laminating A4 £1 per page

-Laminating A3 £2 per page

• Wheelchair hire - It is possible to hire a wheelchair from the Customer Information Desk, a refundable £20.00 deposit is required.
•  Disabled parking tickets - Registered disabled drivers may exchange their car parking tickets at the Customer Information Desk to obtain free parking. Documentation is required.
• Lost Property - If you have lost an item of property in The Chimes, visit the Customer Information desk to register the details.
• Meeting point - In the case of lost children, please report to a member of the Customer Information Team. Please note    we are unable to make PA announcements for children over the age of 12.
• Gift Cards - The Chimes Gift Cards may be purchased from the Customer Information Desk. Please see Gift Card section of this website for more information.

Gift Cards

The Chimes gift card makes the perfect present.

Our gift card is available in any denomination of your choice up to the value of £1,000 and the balance can be spent a little at a time, or all at once, just like a debit card.

The Chimes gift card is accepted in over 76 stores, restaurants and leisure facilities throughout The Chimes

Toilets

Customer toilets are located on both the Upper mall and Lower mall near Debenhams past the lift lobby.

Family rooms are also available for baby changing opposite the Customer toilets on both the Upper mall and Lower mall .

Lifts

Lift services are located on every level of the Shopping centre for your convenience.

Upper and Lower Mall: Near the shopping centre car park access at the Debenhams end.

Level 2- Cinema level: Near Gymboree and the car park access.

Each Car park level has a lift service for the centre.

Shopmobility

Shopmobility is located on the cinema level of The Chimes (level 2). If you need assistance, just ask – a member of staff will always be on hand to help. But before you visit, it is essential that you call 01895 271510 or fax on 01895 271117 to ensure a vehicle is available for you.

Car Parking

There is parking for 1600 cars including disabled and family spaces, accessed from Chippendale Waye with a payment on exit system.

Lower Mall:

The lower mall cash machine is located between Next and BHS.

Upper Mall:

There is also a Cash Machine available on the Upper Mall, near the Information desk - outside H&M.

Shopping lockers

For your convenience, lockers are available for customers to rent. These are located on the Upper Mall near the Customer toilets at the Debenhams end.

Amazon delivery lockers

Amazon delivery lockers are located on the cinema level.

Security, first aid & cleaning

To ensure you enjoy your day at The Chimes, we offer a range of services to make sure your visit is pleasant.   

Our cleaners are continuously on hand to ensure the centre is kept clean and tidy. We also have a large team of security guards on patrol throughout the whole day, with a 24 hour CCTV system.

Fully trained first aiders are also available 24 hours a day.
